Two persons were killed in train accident at Katiadi upazila in Kishoreganj on Friday afternoon.
The accident took place on Kishoreganj-Bhairab rail line at Mondolbhog under Kaitiadi upazila of the district.
The deceased were identified as Abdul Hamid (50) teacher of Shahid Alauddin High School at Mirzapur and Pthao Driver Burhan Uddin (35), son of Abdul Gafour of village Bahadia under Pakundia upazila of the district.
It is reported that they were going to East Mondolbhog by Motorcycle. They across the railline in that time a speedy Intercity Agarosindhur Train colided Motorcycle and they died on the spot.
Kishoreganj Railway Police Station In-charge Abdur Rahman Biswas confirmed this. The dead bodies were handed over the permission of District Magistrate without autopsy.
