Two youths were killed in a road accident at Rajapur-Danga Boyra area in sadar upazila of Jashore on Monday night at 8:30 pm. The deceased were identified as Sumon, 21, son of Fulmia resident of Mathurapur village and Sabuj Hossain 19, son of Korban Ali in the same village under sadar upazila of Jashore district.
Jashore Kotwali Model thana Officer-in-Charge (OC) Md. Moniruzzaman said, Motorcycle riders Sumon and Sabuj were going to their home riding a Motorcycle after taking tea in a tea stall at Shaheed Sirajuddin Hossain College area on Monday night at 8:30. When they reached Rajapur-Danga Boyra area on Khajura College-Rajapur road, the motorcycle hit a roadside date tree lost its control, two riders died on the spot. On information, police recovered the bodies and sent to Jashore 250 bed general hospital morgue. A case was filed in Jashore Kotwali Model thana in this connection.
