Professor Dr Sharif M Al-Reza and Professor Dr Nasir Uddin Miza has been made the new chairmen of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering department, and Al-Quran and Islamic Studies department respectively of Islamic University in Kushtia.
A press release, signed by IU acting registrar HM Ali Hasan,
was issued in this regard on Monday.
IU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr Shaikh Abdus Salam appointed them to the post for the next three years, the press release said.
They were replaced to the post as the tenure of their progenitor Professor Dr Ashok Kumar Chakraborty, and Professor Dr M Yaqub Ali came to an end.
Talking to the Bangladesh Post, newly appointed chairmen said, ‘They would try to betterment
with the assistance of teachers as well as students of the department.’
