A team of RAB-5 in Rajshahi detained two drug peddlers with 8,417 pieces of Yaba worth Tk 33,66,800 from Rasulpur crossing area under Shibganj upazila of Chapainawabganj district on Thursday night.
The detainees were identified as Rubel Mia, 20, son of Afazal Hossain and Monirul Islam, 36, son of Abdul Hakim of Charpanka Bishroshia village of Shibganj upazila.
RAB also seized one motor bike, two mobile sets, three SIM cards and one memory card from them.
Legal action has been taken against them under the narcotics act.
