The members of Rapid Action Battalion (RAB)-11 in a raid at Modonganj area under Bandar police station on Monday arrested two drug vendors along with five thousand and five hundred Yaba pills.
Arrested were Ataul,32, son of Azizur Rahman, resident of Jamuspara village and Samsul Alam,48, son of Mokbul Ahmed, resident of Palakata village of Coxsbazar district.
Assistant director of RAB-11 Rezwan Sayeed Ziku briefed the media in this regard.
RAB claimed that those arrested were moving at Modonganj area and being informed a team of RAB members rushed to the spot and searched those recovered 5500 pieces Yaba pills from their possession that was wrapped by napkin with waists.
A criminal case was recorded with Bandar police station in this regard.
