Detective branch police in a raid arrested two drug peddlers along with yaba pills from Panchabati BSCIC industrial area under Fatulla police station on Tuesday night. Police conducted a raid based on secret information arrested two drug peddlers along with 1120 pieces yaba pills from their possessions.
The arrested were identified as Manik,40, son of Jinnat khan, resident of Rampal village under Kalkini police station of Madaripur district and Shahin,36, son of Shajahan, resident of Kalirbazar village under Faridganj police station in Chandpur district.
A sub-inspector of Narayanganj detective branch police Abdul Haq Sikdar conducted raid according to previous information. He added that the arrested drug peddlers living at Horiharpara near BSCIC area have been running drug trading for long. A criminal case under narcotics control act has been registered with Fatulla police in this regard.
