2 businessmen donate Eid dress for 14,000 children

A total of 14,000 children of unemployed families are getting new clothes ahead of Eid-ul-Fitr during corona crisis in Bogura. Naharul Islam, a businessman, has sold his hobby private car to buy these children new clothes and make them smile.

Social worker Abdul Mannan Akand has increased the level of happiness of the children by combining the dividends of business money with Naharul Islam’s donation. 

Together, these two businessmen from Bogura are providing new clothes to 14,000 children. In the first phase on Saturday, the program was started by distributing new clothes among 142 residents of Government Children's Family (Girls) in Bogura.

Inspired by Bogura-based social worker Abdul Mannan Akand, businessman Naharul Islam sold his X-Corolla white car for Tk 9 lakh. 

Meanehile, Abdul Mannan added the rest of the money from his business dividend to buy new cloths for 14,000 poor children. 

The distribution of new clothes was inaugurated by Abdul Mannan Akand, head of Bogura Shukra  Enterprise and President of District Truck Owners Association.

Among others Ripa Monalisa, Deputy Superintendent of Government Children's Family, Azizur Rahman Liton, Leader of Bogura Municipal AL unit, Abdus Salam Babu, Vice-President of Bogura Press Club and others were present at the time.

The new cloths will be distributed among the primary school students of 21 wards of Bogura municipal municipality.
