Abdur Rahim and Rahmat Ullah, arrested for torturing housewife by stripping her naked at Eklashpur in Noakhali's Begumganj, have been remanded for six days.
Senior Judicial Magistrate (Begumganj Court) Mashfiqul Haque passed the order on Monday evening.
Begumganj police station SI and case investigating officer Mostaq Ahmed handed over the arrestees to the court seeking seven days remand in each of the two cases filed against them. In the same time, Senior Judicial Magistrate Navneeta Guha took statements of the plaintiff and victim woman under Section 22.
