A total of 2,38,514 students including 1,13, 677 males and 1,24,837 females are going to appear the Junior Secondary Certificate (JSC) examinations under Jashore Education Board (JEB), beginning from November 2 like other boards of the country in a free, fair and peaceful manner.
Jashore Education Board sources said, Of them 37,184 candidates are going to appear in Jashore district, 12,576 candidates to appear in Narail, 29,337 candidates to appear in Jhenidah, 15,737 candidates to appear in Magura, 36,393 candidates to appear in Kushtia, 12,025 candidates to appear in Meherpur, 17,719 candidates to appear in Chuadanga, 26,054 candidates to appear in Satkhira, 32,191 candidates to appear in Khulna and 19,292 candidates are going to appear in Bagerhat district. The students will take part in the examinations from a total of Institutions 2,913 in ten districts under this education board and 283 examination centers have been set up, board sources said.
The ten districts are-Jashore,Narail, Jhenidah, Magura, Khustia, Chuadanga, Meherpur, Satkhira, Khulna and Bagerhat.
Chairman of Jashore Education Board (JEB) Professor Md. Abdul Alim told that the board authorities have taken all-out measures to ensure a peaceful environment and prevent cheating at the examination centers. Adequate number of vigilance teams would be working in the examination centres.
”We have completed almost all the necessary preparations to hold the JSC examinations in smooth and peaceful manner”, the Board Chairman added.
Controller of Examinations in JEB Prof. Madhap Chandra Ruddra informed that the centre-secretaries have been asked to follow the examination rules and regulations strictly. Punitive measures will also be taken against the institutions which will be found guilty of any irregularity.
