2,000 return home through Joynagar Check Post in two days

A large numbers of passport holders of Bangladesh returned home from India through Joynagar Check Post in Damurhuda upazila of Chuadanga district on March 13 and 14 over coronavirus disease. 

According to sources, at least 1983 passport holders of Bangladesh, who went to India for different works, returned home in the last two days. 1183 passport holders on March 13 and 800 passport holders on March 14, were checked coronavirus by medical teams at the check post. No coronavirus was found in them.  

It is learnt Moytree Train went to India and came from India today. Bangladesh passport holders did not go to India through Joynagar Check Post today due to ban of entrance by Indian government over coronavirus. Indian passport holders may come in Bangladesh and go out from Bangladesh.   

Gokul Kundu of Shokupa in Jhenidah said he went to India on March 12 and had to return home causing coronavirus.  Mina Rani Pal of village Joynagar in Boalmary thana of Faridpur district told this correspondent she went to India on March 1 and came back on March 14 in fear of coronavirus. 

Solaiman Hoque Joader Selun, MP of Chuadanga-1 constituency, returned from India today and examined at Joynagar Check Post Medical Camp on coronavirus.
