Alhaj ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury Foundation distributed Iftar among 2,000 people on Wednesday afternoon at Nandankanan, Gate No 2 of Sholashahar, Probratak Moor as usual on 18th Ramadan. The Iftar was organized under the management of former Juba League leader Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor. The Mohiuddin Chowdhury Foundation has distributed Iftar to more than 40,000 people since the beginning of Ramadan.
Former Juba League leader Helal Akbar Chowdhury Babor said Alhaj ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury of Chattalbi was a compassionate leader. He loved dozens of ordinary people. Every Ramadan, he would arrange Seheri and Iftar for thousands of helpless people and sit down with them to eat. He is not with us today, but he has left his actions and ideals for the people, which is exemplary for all of us. We are trying to contain his human qualities in ourselves as his small staff. We are trying to serve the people. Our activities will continue throughout Ramadan.
Juba League leader Shibu Prasad Chowdhury, Mahanagar Swechchhasebak League leader M Qutbuddin Chowdhury, Nasir Uddin Fahim, Mohammad Taslim, Kazi Delwar Hossain, Hossain Ahmed Rubel and Mohammad Jahed were also present on the occasion.
