18th teacher registration preli exam on March 15

The 18th Teacher Registration Preliminary Examination is set to take place on Friday, March 15th, with candidates facing the challenge of rigorous testing across two shifts in one day. As confirmed by the Secretary of Private Teacher Registration and Certification Authority (NTRCA), Md. Obaidur Rahman (Deputy Secretary), the examination will be conducted in accordance with the scheduled timings, with morning sessions dedicated to school and school-II level exams and afternoon sessions designated for college level exams.

According to the notification released by NTRCA, the morning session will commence at 9:30 am and conclude at 10:30 am, focusing on school and school-II level exams. Following this, the college level examination will commence at 3:30 pm and end at 4:30 pm.

Md. Obaidur Rahman emphasized that all necessary preparations for the examination have been completed, with materials dispatched to each examination center. He reiterated that there will be no postponement of the exam.

Regarding the publication of exam results, Rahman mentioned that external personnel need to be appointed to oversee the accounts. However, efforts will be made to expedite the release of results, aiming to finalize the recruitment process within the current year.

In terms of future opportunities, Rahman hinted at the possibility of a new recruitment circular being published during Ramadan for those sitting the exam.

Test Structure:

Candidates will engage in a Multiple Choice (MCQ) exam, with 100 marks allocated for the preliminary stage. The examination will encompass 25 marks each for Bengali, English, Mathematics, and General Knowledge, totaling 100 marks. The passing score is set at 40, with a deduction of 0.25 marks for each incorrect answer.

In the subsequent written examination, candidates will be assessed on their respective subjects. Successful registration will provide candidates with opportunities to work as teachers in various educational institutions under private MPO.
