An 18-month old children drowned at North Dumuria village of Naragati thana under Kalia upazila in Narail on Friday morning.
The deceased was identified as Nabil Molla,son of Anisur Rahman Molla of North Dumuria village under the upazila. Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Naragati thana Sukanto Saha confirmed the matter.
Police and deceased relatives sources said,Nabil fell into the nearby pond while playing at home yard and he was drowned.After searching family members found Nabil dead body floating in the pond around 9:30 am.
