18 children to shoot with Siam-Pori on launch for 20 days

The movie 'Adventure of Sundarban' received government grant. Abu Raihan Jewel will be directing the film which stars Siam Ahmed and Pori Moni.

Zakaria Sokhin has adapted the novel 'Ratuler Rat Ratuler Din' by Muhammad Zafar Iqbal into a screenplay. The shooting will begin at Sadarghat on March 13. After the two-day shooting in Sadarghat, shooting will take place in different locations in the Sundarbans. 18 children and teenagers will take part in the shooting along with Siam and Pori Moni. The children will be on the launch with them for 20 days.

The movie was officially announced at the auditorium of the Bishwo Shahitto Kendro in the capital on Monday. Muhammad Zafar Iqbal, Siam, Pori Moni, selected children and teenagers, the director and other actors of the cinema were present on the occasion. A total of 18 children and teenagers were selected from 200 through the auditions.

Director Abu Raihan Jewel said, ‘I really want to make a good movie. In addition to the government grant for this, I got Banga as a co-producer. I found the perfect cast for the film as well. Hopefully I can present a good movie to the audience.’

It is reported that director Abu Raihan Jewel's movie received a government grant of Tk 60 lakh in the financial year 2018-2019, under the name ‘Nosu Dakat Kupokat’. Later the name was changed to 'Adventure of Sundarban'.
