AKM Enamul Haque Shameem, Deputy Minister for Water Resources and former organizing secretary of the Awami League, said the construction of the Padma Bridge with its own funds has increased the financial capacity and courage of Bangladesh. With this construction, Bangladesh went ahead for 50 years. Utilizing Padma's experience, the ability to finance large projects in the future was created. On June 25, 17 crore people will cross the Padma.

He said this at a preparatory meeting with the Shariatpur district administration on Sunday for the inauguration ceremony of the Padma Bridge on June 25.

Enamul Haque Shamim said, "Padma Bridge is not just a bridge of bricks, stones and steel, it is a symbol of our passion, love and confidence." This is our great achievement after independence. The government's relationship with the people has been further strengthened through this project. Because Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina herself has announced that construction of Padma Bridge would not have been possible without the response of the people. The construction of this bridge will radically change the communication system of South Bengal. Employment will increase.

Deputy Minister Enamul Haque Shameem said the inauguration ceremony would be the best of the commemoration period. Everyone wants to participate in the opening ceremony. Want to be connected as a witness of history.

For this, the expatriates are also keeping in touch. Some have already returned to the country. Many are waiting to return. So now it is being observed that it will be the best commemorative event in the history of Bangladesh.

He said the construction of Padma bridge was possible because Bangabandhu Kanya was in power. The Prime Minister realizes the dream he has shown. He thinks about the next generation. Due to his honesty and skill and talent he has the ability to lead the continent of Asia. He is the best Prime Minister ever.

Presided over by Deputy Commissioner Parvez Hasan, MPs Iqbal Hossain Apu, Nahim Razzak and Parveen Haque Sikder, District Awami League General Secretary Anol Kumar Dey and all senior officials of the district administration were present.
