168 people quarantined in Kurigram

At least 168 people with newly 18 ones were home quarantined in Kurigram on Monday. Although no coronavirus infected patient has yet been detected in the district, this has to be done in order to maintain extra precaution against spreading transmission of COVID-19.

Civil Surgeon of Kurigram, Dr Habibur Rahman said they were collecting information weather any returnee was moving indiscriminately in his locality. They were confirming the matter in collaboration with the district administration and police forces.

Meanwhile, Kurigram Press Club has taken an endeavor to distribute musk and sanitizers among the journalists as well as the family members in order to remain safe from corona infection. President of Kurigram press club advocate Ahosan Habib Nilu distributed the utensils to the press men on Monday morning. 

General Secretary of Kurigram press club Ataur Rahman Biplob, vice president Rejaul Karim, additional Secretary Mahafujar Rahman, journalist Ekramul Haq Somrat among others were present in the musk and sanitizers distribution ceremony.
