160 gold bars have been recovered at Chattogram Shah Amanat International Airport.
On Thursday (October 15) morning, the airport customs and NSI team recovered the abandoned bars.
Roxana Khatun, deputy commissioner of Chattogram Custom House, said she found the gold bars in a plastic bag under the seat of the BG148 flight from Dubai. They are being counted now. It is being presumed that there may be approximately 180 gold bars.
Earlier on Thursday (October 1st), 82 gold bars were recovered from the body of a passenger returning to Dubai from Shah Amanat International Airport.
