Members of RAB-5 Rajshahi at a drive have arrested 16 human traffickers including seven women from a residential hotel at Swornokerpatti area of the city on early Friday morning.
RAB-5 sources at a press release informed that acting on a tip off, RAB members conducted a raid at Hotel Welcome at Swornopatti area and arrested those 16 human traffickers including seven women.
RAB Members also recovered 80 pieces of condoms, 100 visiting cards, 21 mobile phone sets and a cash of Tk 109,000 from the second floor of the hotel.
However, RAB did not disclose the names of seven arrested women. A case has been filed with Boalia Police station in this connection.
