15 surrendered extremists receive financial grants

Financial grants provided by the Prime Minister have been distributed to 15 former extremists who surrendered in Bogura district. In 2019, these extremists returned to normal life in response to the government's call. Bogura district police managed to pay Tk 50,000 to each of the former extremists on Sunday noon. 

District AL unit's President Mujibur Rahman Majnu, Joint Director of National Intelligence Mohammad Zahir Uddin, Superintendent of Police Abdul Jalil, Additional District Magistrate Salauddin Ahmed and Additional Superintendent of Police Sanatan Chakraborty attended the distribution programme presided over by Superintendent of Police Ali Ashraf Bhuiyan at Police Lines Auditorium. 

Bogura Superintendent of Police Ali Ashraf Bhuiyan urged the former extremists to contribute to the development of the country from their normal life. Additional Superintendent of Police Sanatan Chakraborty said each of the 15 extremists who surrendered in Bogura district was provided Tk 50,000 each by the Prime Minister.
