With eight more deaths from Rajshahi, a total of 15 patients died at the Corona unit of Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) during the last 24 hour period ending at 8 am on Friday.
RMCH sources informed, on Thursday, a total of 130 were tested Corona positive by testing samples of 563 persons in two labs of the hospital. The rate of identification is 23.81 percent.
RMCH Director Brig Gen Shamim Yazdani informed of the dead, seven are males and eight are females. Eight of them are from Rajshahi, two each from Natore and Pabna and one each from C'nawabganj, Naogaon and Kushtia.
Meanwhile, a total of 47 more Corona patients have been admitted to the unit while 34 were released after treatment during the same time. Till 8-00 AM Friday, a total of 403 patients were taking treatment at the Corona unit of the hospital as against 513 beds.
