The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and equivalent examinations are starting Thursday. 1,49,712 candidates will participate in the examination from Chattogram Education Board.
These students from 1092 schools in 213 centers will appear for the exam. 60 General Vigilance Teams and 8 Special Teams have been formed for the examination.
Chattogram Education Board Examination Controller Narayan Chandra Nath gave this information on Wednesday.
He said that the Chattogram Education Board authorities have opened a control room to complete the examination in a fair and beautiful environment.
Besides, the education board has completed all kinds of preparations to complete this year's SSC examination in a fair and beautiful environment.
According to the education board officials, two levels of security are being ensured this year to send the SSC examination question papers to the center. Question papers will be sent to the center in aluminum foil packets.
These packets will be wrapped with another security packet tag so that the aluminum foil packets are not damaged in any way. There will be no possibility of leakage of question paper while sending to the center, said the concerned.
It is reported that about 1,49,712 candidates will participate in the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examination this year under Chattogram Education Board. Last year 1,61,122 candidates appeared for the exam. Accordingly, the number of examinees has decreased by 11,410. According to Chattogram Education Board sources, 1,05,920 students of Chattogram city and district will participate in the examination in 125 centers, 23431 students of Cox's Bazar in 29 centers.
Also among the three hill districts, 7658 students of Rangamati in 21 centers, 8660 students of Khagrachari in 23 centers and 4043 students of Bandarban in 15 centers will take the exam.
