Today (Sept 1) is the 12th death anniversary of Md Khurshid Alam, a noted fiction writer and former Additional Secretary of the government.
On the occasion, the family members of the deceased arranged various programmes, including distribution of foods among orphans and special prayer at Shariatpur Hafejia Madrasa, said a press release.
Khurshid Alam was a BCS (Admin) Cadre of 1982 batch official. In his career, he served in different ministries and was well known to all as an ‘honest, dedicated, and hardworking civil service’ official.
He wrote 19 books. “Shet-Kopoter Dana”, “Hridoy Nodi Roktopath”, “Digomborir Prem Nei”, “Vangoner Podaboli”, “Poribesh, Shomaj O Shamajik Bikas”, “Unoshotturer Koishor” and “Shikkoker Shomudro Jatra” are among them.
