Bangladesh Road Transport Authority (BRTA) launched a drive against illegal vehicles without route permits, fitness and other papers through mobile courts in Chattogram on Tuesday.
A total of 12 vehicles were fined Tk 41,200 in the drive. Besides, one vehicle was dumped.
Mishkatul Tamanna, Executive Magistrate of BRTA Mobile Court-12 led this operation in Customs Mor area of Chattogram.
BRTA Ctg Metro Circle-2 Motor Vehicle Inspector Palash Khisha, Motor Vehicle Inspectors of Zila Circle Md Abdul Matin, Md Mehedi Ikbal and Enamul Haque were present during the drive. Traffic Police of Chattogram Metropolitan Police (CMP) were also present in the drive.
