To curb Covid-19 infections in various places of Shariatpur Sadar Upazila Municipality, Shariatpur Sadar Upazila Executive Officer Mahabur Rahman Sheikh led the mobile court operations, and has slapped some Tk5,500 in fines on 11 people.
The fines were slapped for not wearing mask in public. This health guidelines were imposed by the government in an effort to contain the spread of the coronavirus.
Many were warned at this time and instructed to follow the hygiene rules. Awareness was raised about social distancing and wearing masks in public. At this time,Palang Model Police Station cooperated.
