At least 10 people sustained injuries when a Dhaka-bound passenger bus skidded off the road near Panchmail area on Jhenaidah-Dhaka highway on Friday.
Passengers said the bus started from Jhenaidah when arrived near the spot, lost its control over the steering to avoid head on collision with another bus from the opposite direction and skidded off the road leaving 10 passengers injured.
The fire fighters along with the people had rescued the injured and sent to Jhenaidah Sadar hospital. Of the injured condition of two passengers was stated to be critical.
Officer In-Charge of Jhenaidah Sadar Police Station Mijanur Raman confirmed the matter to the Bangladesh Post.
