Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will virtually distributes deeds and documents of houses and lands to 10 beneficiaries today, said Fatema Tuj Jahara, UNO of Sadar Upazila.
She said this during a press conference at her office on Sunday. As part of the 5th phase of the Ashrayan Project, these houses will be handed over to 10 homeless and landless families of Alukdia and Titudah unions of sadar upazila.
Among the beneficiaries are Mofizur Mollik and his wife Kobita Khatun from Jhuraghata village in Alukdia union, as well as Zahidul Islam and his wife Lipi Khatun, Kawsar Ali and his wife Tamanna Khatun, Kamruzzaman Kollol and his wife Surovi from the same village.
From Titudah union, the beneficiaries include Saleha Begum, daughter of Mofazzel Mondal from Huliamari village, Alamgir Hossain and his wife Parvina Khatun, Idbar Ali and his wife Sargis Begum, Chharu Khatun, daughter of Badal Uddin, Anwar Sheikh and his wife Rashina Begum, and Ruhzel Hossain and his wife Argina Khatun.
This initiative is a part of the government's ongoing effort to provide house and land to the homeless and landless, ensuring a stable and secure living environment for the underprivileged.
