1 to die, 4 get life for Rajbari student murder

The District and Sessions Court has acquitted 1 person, 4 life imprisonment and 2 persons in the murder case of school student Nahid Hasan Midul (17) in Rajbari.

District and Sessions Judge Ruhul Amin passed the sentence at around 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.

At that time, the accused number two of the case Rubel was hanged and the other accused of the case was Rafizul Mondal, Pyarul. Piyal and Md Raihan were sentenced to life imprisonment.Besides, the court acquitted two defendants named Elem and Farid.

It is reported that Nahid Hasan Midul, a student of Yachin High School in Rajbari, was stabbed to death on 19 June 2014.

Abdul Momin Molla, the father of Midul, a school student who was killed in the incident on June 21, filed a murder case accusing 7 people as the plaintiff. After a long testimony, the learned court judge gave this sentence today.

In this, the lawyer of the state party Ed. Although Uzri Ali expressed his satisfaction, the defendant's lawyer Ed. Nekbar Hossain Moni. He said he will appeal to the High Court.
