Over one lakh 54 thousand examinees will appear at the Secondary School Certificate (SSC) examinations under examinations under Chattogram Education Board (CEB) this year.
The examinations will begin on April 30 next.
Narayon Chandra Nath, controller of the board, told BSS that they have completed all preparations to hold the examinations in a peaceful atmosphere.
As many as 34,032 students from science group, 59,533 from humanities group and 61,204 students from business administration group, totaling 1,54,769 are scheduled to sit for their examinations.
Among the students, 68,270 are male and 86,499 are female.
The students will participate in the examinations from 1,107 high schools through 216 centers.
A total of 65 vigilance teams consisting of teachers and magistrates have been formed to check any sort of unfair means or irregularities.
