A total of 163 more people were cured of Covid-19 in the division on Thursday, taking the recovery cases to 1,04,087 since the pandemic began in March last year.
On the other hand, 132 more people have tested positive for the deadly virus in 10 districts of Khulna division on the day, climbing the number of infected cases to 1,11,324 , said Dr Jashim Uddin Howlader, divisional director of health.
However, the new daily infection figure is gradually reducing in the last couple of weeks since the second wave hit the country around four months back.
A total of 1,00,532 people have, so far, been kept under quarantine since March 10 last year to prevent the community transmission of the deadly Coronavirus.
Of them, 99,707 have, by now, been released as they were given clearance certificates after completing their 14-day quarantine.
