Global leaders in building construction, designing and woodworks are going to bring their products and services under one roof in Dhaka on Thursday to allow people gain ideas about the latest technology, products, and solutions on architecture and construction.
The participants, both local and foreign, will display latest innovation, technology and products on globally advanced building and construction, green architecture and wood and woodworking sector.
They will attend three international exhibitions titled the 4th Bangladesh Buildcon 2018; the Green Arch 2018 and the 4th Bangladesh Wood International Expo 2018 starting from Thursday at the International Convention City, Bashundhara in Dhaka.
The event will also display global standard furniture crafted in Bangladesh.
More than 200 organisations from 10 different countries including Bangladesh will participate in the exhibitions.
Futurex Trade Fair and Events Private Limited of India and ASK Trade & Exhibitions Pvt Ltd of Bangladesh are jointly organising the exhibition.
This was disclosed at a press conference at a hotel in the capital on Tuesday.

Bangladesh is growing rapidly as it aspires to become the middle income economy by the year 2021. Latest technology, products, and solutions on architecture and construction will be displayed in the exhibitions.
The key exhibiting segments include architectural hardware & products, building materials, mep services, ready mix concrete equipment and brick making plant, construction machinery & equipment, sustainable architecture, woodworking machinery, furniture hardware, power tool, fittings and fixtures, laminates, boards, coating, abrasives and adhesives.
A seminar on “Alternative and Affordable Green Technology” will be held on July 12 presented by Md. Abu Sadeq, former director of HBRI and Dr. Toufiq M Seraj, founder managing director of Sheltech (Pvt) Ltd.
The 2nd edition of International Conference on Green Architecture 2018 will be held on July 13 presented by Ar. Luis Longhi Traverso of Longhi Architects, Peru, Prof. Shamsul Wares, eminent architect of Bangladesh, Dr. Cristian Suau, Studio POP, C.I.C, Scotland and Tai Lee Siang, immediate past chair, World Green Building Council.
Paralell Technical Sessions will be held on July 14 on important themes such as “Affordable and Clean Energy”, “Industry, Innovation and Infrastructure”, “Sustainable Cities and Communities”, “Responsive Consumption and Production”.
