Sonali Bank Limited (SBL) held a training workshop on ‘Cyber security and implementation of core banking solution (CBS) without sharing user password’ in Rangpur on Saturday.
The SBL divisional general manager’s office organised the daylong event at BRAC Training centre in the city.
Officials and concerned employees of the SBL working in the division participated in the training workshop.
Chief information officer and IT experts of the SBL from its head office Omar Farooque Khandker attended the workshop as the chief guest with general manager of its Rangpur Divisional General Managers’ Office Enamul Haque in the chair.
Enamul Haque discussed the importance of implementation of the CBS, security threats in networking and SWIFT for ensuring complete security in the banking system and resisting hacking of information by the hackers.
The chief guest suggested the officials, IT experts and employees of SBL involved with using computers and related software to ensure compliance of precautionary directions, suggestions and instructions to resist hacking of information in the banking systems.
