On the occasion of the fourth years in operation, the management of US-Bangla Airlines has reiterated its pledge for ensuring customers satisfaction through improved services in the coming days.
Thanking all the well-wishers for their support and cooperation for smooth functioning of the airliner, Managing Director of US-Bangla Airlines Mohammed Abdullah Al Mamun reiterated “We shall make all happenings not only to retain our present market share but to expand our operation in international sectors continuously. We are absolutely bound to satisfy our passengers and us hope will be able to do it.”
The management of US-Bangla Airlines on behalf of all directors and its employees have expressed their gratitude to all its patrons, well wishers and in particular, all the government agencies, travel agents and all sorts of media for their heartfelt support in making US-Bangla, a success story.
US-Bangla Airlines has celebrated four-year of its operation at a ceremony in Dhaka on Tuesday. US-Bangla Airlines, one of the leading private airlines in Bangladesh, started its operation with its maiden flight from Dhaka to Jessore on July 17, 2014.
With the motto “Fly Fast-Fly Safe”, US-Bangla Airlines commenced operation with two Dash8-Q400 aircraft. Within four years of its successful operation, currently US-Bangla Airlines owns seven aircraft in its fleet. Of them, four are Boeing 737-800 and three are Dash8-Q400. And within this year, more two Boeing 737-800 and two Boeing 777-200 ER aircraft will be joining its fleet as well, said a press release.
Internationally, US-Bangla Airlines operates to Kolkata, Muscat, Doha, Kuala Lumpur, Singapore, Bangkok and Guangzhou from Dhaka and to Muscat, Doha and Kolkata from Chittagong. In the domestic region, it is operating from Dhaka to Chittagong, Cox’s Bazar, Jessore, Saidpur, Sylhet, Barisal and Rajshahi routes. US-Bangla Airlines is the only private airlines to provide services in almost all the operational airports of Bangladesh. Within a very short time US-Bangla Airlines will be operating in Abu Dhabi, Dammam, Riyadh, Hongkong, Chennai, Delhi and many more. In a span of just four years of its operation, US-Bangla has established its brand reputation. Since its first operation, US-Bangla has already operated around 42,000 flights successfully in domestic and international routes which stand as a landmark in the aviation industry of Bangladesh. Currently more than 330 flights are being operated weekly. More than 1400 effective workforces are employed here.
In recognition, US-Bangla achieved the title of the Best Private Airlines as well as Best Domestic Airlines among all other private carriers in Bangladesh. In the past four years, US-Bangla has achieved the most prestigious award – ‘Best Airline in Bangladesh-2016 by PATA, Best Airline of the Year-2015 in Domestic Sector’ by Bangladesh Monitor. US-Bangla also received ‘Best Domestic Airline of the Year-2014 and 2015’ by the Travelers Forum. US-Bangla Airlines is the leading premium airline of Bangladesh, with impeccable standards of service equipped with incomparable reliability and ultimate flying comfort, and reaching a milestone for the best on-time performance, which is about 98.7%.
US-Bangla introduced wage earners desk at airport, pick-drop service for Business Class Passengers, 20% discount for Senior Citizens, delivering luggage within 10 minutes after landing international flight. With the aim of facilitating the service for passengers; US-Bangla Airlines operates 30 sales offices throughout the country. It maintains offices in Nepal, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Oman, China, Qatar, USA and Canada as well.
