The tri-annual conference of Kusumhati union unit of Krishok League, a front body of ruling Awami League, was held at Dohar upazila in Dhaka on Tuesday.

Presided over by upazila Krishok League President Abul Kalam Azad, Dohar upazila chairman Alamgir Hossain was present as guest. Organizing Secretary of the central committee of Bangladesh Krishok League Abul Hossain was present as special guest. Dohar Upazila Awami League General Secretary Ali Ahsan Khokon Sikder, Krishok League central leader Ekitheer Hossain Dulu, President of Dhaka district Abu Zafar Zaki Uddin Rintu, General Secretary Amjad Hossain, Hamidur Rahman Khan Himu, Gias Uddin, Haji Md. Including Azhar Ali were also present.

The speakers called upon the leaders and workers of the organizations to work for ensuring victory of Awami League in the upcoming elections. “In order to protect Bangladesh’s development, democracy and independence, farmers’ society will have to work unitedly. Only then will we be able to build a modern-day modern Bangladesh under the leadership of Bangabandhu’s daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. That’s why all the leaders and activists of the party will work together. In the upcoming elections, the country will have to elect the boat candidate,” they said.
