Bangladesh Women have ended the T20I series with another defeat against Pakistan Women at Sheikh Kamal International Cricket Stadium, Cox’s Bazar. With today’s victory, Pakistan clinched the 4-match series by 3-0. First match of the series was abandoned, reports agencies.
Bangladesh Women opted the bat first after winning the toss. Like in the last two matches, Bangladesh batsmen again struggled to score runs from the start of the innings. Rumana Ahmed’s 31-ball knock of 24 was the highest score as Bangladesh were eventually bowled out for 77 in the last ball of 20th over. Natalia claimed 3 wickets 20.
Defending a low total, bowlers needed to give regular breakthroughs but unfortunately that did not happen.
Javeira produced another match-winning knock 0f 36 as Pakistan Women successfully chased down the target in 14.5 overs with 7 wickets in hand. Salma Khatun, Khadija Tul Kubra and Rumana Ahmed shared one wicket each.
Only ODI between the two sides will be held on October 8 (Monday) at the same venue.
