A village enriched with the aboriginal people in Saganna union of Jhenidah sadar upazila, enlightened with the magical touch of the Deputy Commissioner Saroj Kumar Nath.
The area which meant for the under privileged and disadvantaged people belongs to aboriginal community people, witnessed the light and fans within a moment on Wednesday evening.
Each and every people were present at the inaugural ceremony became delighted with the magic touch of their long cherished electricity at their houses. The DC inaugurated the solar power facilities for the people.
Additional deputy magistrate Mohammad Asaduzzaman, upazila nirbahi officer Shammi Islam, chairman of Saganna union parishad Mohammad Alauddin among others spoke at the function.
The speakers said that the government has been doing anything and everything for the people, especially, neglected people as they are the part and parcel of our society.
As the society cannot go ahead with the solvent and enlightened people only, development of remaining people should be ensured under the limelight of development activities.
The DC gave emphasis on the basic education of the children of the disadvantaged community people to make them good citizens.
