State Minister for Religious Affairs Alhaj Advocate Sheikh Md. Abdullah has expressed his firm determination to work for ensuring the welfare of every religious community in the country.
The state minister came up with the observation while speaking at a view-exchange meeting with journalists at his Gopalganj residence on Friday, says an official press release.
“The Ministry of Religious Affairs will continue its all out efforts to ensure a proper hajj management,” Sheikh Abdullah said.
The state minister also held another view-exchange meeting with ‘alem ulemas’ (Islamic scholars) of the district after attending Jumma prayers at Gawhardanga Darul Ulum Khademul Islam Madrasa mosque in Tungipara. Abdullah sought cooperation of the Islamic scholars in performing his job.
