Debate team of Bangladesh University of Business and Technology receives crest from former CEC ATM Shamsul Huda and Chairman of Debate for Democracy Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiron at FDC in the city on Saturday.

Former Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Dr ATM Shamsul Huda has called for stopping the use of black money and muscle power in upcoming 11th parliamentary elections.
He said this while he was speaking as the chief guest at a debate completion at a shadow parliament at the Bangladesh Film Development Corporation
(FDC) in the capital on Saturday. Debate for Democracy arranged event on the upcoming parliamentary elections.
Chairman of Debate for Democracy Hasan Ahmed Chowdhury Kiron presided over the debate competition.
Bangladesh University of Business and Technology won the debate competition defeating BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology. After the debate, crests and certificates were handed over to the competitors.
Prof Abu Mohammad Rais, journalist Salehuddin, Irin Bashar Rifat, Dr SM Murshed and freelance journalist Jahid Rahman were the jury board members.
