A team of 5 students from Southeast University (SEU) participated in the 12th South Asian University Youth Festival (SAUFEST), which was recently held at Pandit Ravi Shankar University, Raipur in India.
The Association of Indian Universities organized this festival in order to maintain a mutual cooperation in education, social, cultural and economic areas among students of South Asian countries. Students of different universities took part in various activities. The activities held during the fest include poster making, mime, folk orchestra, folk dance, debate, clay modelling, classical dance and seminars.
About 600 students and officials from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Myanmar, Mauritius, Nepal and Sri Lanka participated in this festival.
The Bangladeshi students’ delegates were Azizur Rahman Rohan, Labonnyo Biswas, Sabrina Islam Ani, Md Shakhawat Hossain Shakil and Mohammad Ashraful Alam Munna.
