Khulna Divisional commissioner Lokman Hossain Mia in his speech said the people should protest drug, militancy, corruption and some other social irregularities like child marriage, multi marriage, dowry etc. to build a new generation when the country is marching towards a digitized world under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
He was addressing a huge gathering at Sailkupa upazila parishad ground on Sunday morning as chief guest, arranged by local upazila parishad at Sailkupa.The divisional commissioner said, the prime minister had announced to show zero tolerance to drug, militancy, corruption and some other social crimes to make the country as one of the most peaceful country for the people of blood-earned Bangladesh, freed from the clutch of the Pakistani rulers in 1971.
A few number of anti-social and unscrupulous people have been plotting to destroy the sovereignty to serve their own interest in the name of so called democracy they believe. The people should resist them.
Lokman said the Imams and moulanas of the Islamic community and the Hindu and other religious leaders can play vital role to establish the justice providing accurate information and ethical education to the common people.
The divisional commissioner urged upon the students to build their carrier towards a better world waiting for them.
Only proper education with morality exercise might help a student to become a good citizen.

Presided over by Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) of Sailkupa Mohammad Usman Gani, deputy commissioner Saroj Kumar Nath, upazila parishad chairman Mosharraf Hossain Shikder, vice chairmen Shamim Ahmed Mollah and Afroza Nasreen Lipi and ex commander of Bangladesh Muktijoddha Sangshad Jhenidah district unit command Makbul Hossain were present as special guests.
