Zahedi Foundation, a local voluntary organisation in Jhenaidah, distributed meat of sacrificed animals “Korbani” among 15 thousand poor families.
Zahedi Foundation district unit coordinator Tabibur Rahman Labu said that like past years the foundation distributed the meat of sacrificed animals at different villages in Jhenaidah Sadar and Harinakundu upazila. They also have been distributing cash, rice, pulse, edible oil, soap and some other items since the Eid ul Adha.
Naser Shahrier Zahedi Mahul, executive director of the foundation and CEO of Radiant Pharmaceuticals was supervising the activities presenting himself at Kingshuk Bricks at Bergobindapur village in Jhenaidah.
