A youth died with coronavirus symptoms in a running bus at Hichmi Bazar of Joypurhat Sadar Upazila early on Tuesday on his way home from the capital with his mother. The bus driver and other passengers then left his body on the side of the road.
Mijanur Rahmen, suffering from fever and breathing problem, was heading to Joypurhat from Dhaka with his mother on a bus but he and his mother were left beside the road when he died during his journey.
On Tuesday early morning they broader on a bus and was heading to their village home Mongolbari under Dhamuirhat upazila of Naogaon district on Dhaka-Hili bus service. When the bus reached near Joypurhat, Mijanur died and the driver and helpers of the bus along with the passengers left his dead body and deboarded his mother also at the same place beside the road.
Shahriar Khan, officer-in-charge of Joypurhat Sadar Police Station informed, the corpse has been recovered from beside the road and arrangement was underway to send it to his home at Mongolbari in Dhamuirhat upazila of Naogaon district. Mother of the deceased person informed police that her son had been suffering from fever and suffocation problem.
