Dengue claimed life of another young man at Mirzapur Upazila in Tangail on Wednesday night.
The deceased was identified as Arif Hossain Kazal, 28, son of Alam Miah of Khailsindhur Village of the Upazila.
Kumudini Hospital director Dr Pradip Kumar Roy confirmed that Kazal died around 10:00 while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Family members said Arif was brought to Kumudin Hospital on August 4 with high fever. He was diagnosed with dengue in the hospital.
Dr Pradip said the patient started coughing up blood and non-stop vomiting since Wednesday evening. Family members were asked to arrange blood for him.
But he died before giving blood, the physician added.
