She said that the purpose of celebrating World Children's Day and Child Rights Week is to create a safe environment through awareness of child rights. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's government is ensuring children's education and nutrition on the one hand. On the other hand, various laws, policies, action plans are being formulated and implemented for the protection, safety and rights of children. SDGs have been included in the government's 8th five-year plan. The government is working to achieve the SDGs through the development and protection of children.

Hasanuzzaman Kallol was present as a special guest in the closing ceremony under the chairmanship of Lucky Inam, Chairman of Bangladesh Shishu Academy. Afroza Khan, Managing Director of Joyita Foundation, Farida Parveen, Director General of Women's Affairs Department, Additional Secretary Dr. Mohiuddin Osmani and additional secretary Md. Muhibuzzaman and other officials of the ministry. Director General of Shishu Academy Md. Shariful Islam gave a welcome speech on the occasion.
In the speech of the special guest, Secretary Hasanuzzaman Kallol said that the government is providing allowance through the mother and child support program to ensure the nutrition of the child from the mother's pregnancy. The Ministry of Women and Child Affairs is implementing various programs for the welfare of women and children.
