Yami Gautam is all set to collaborate for her upcoming film, ‘Ginny Weds Sunny’. Vikrant Massey will be seen opposite to her. The upcoming Puneet Khanna directorial has started shooting in Delhi yesterday. This is the first time these powerhouse performers will be seen sharing the screen space together.
The film is reportedly a rom-com and will be helmed by debutant director Puneet Khanna and produced by Vinod Bachchan. Puneet Khanna has reportedly worked with Farhan Akhtar, Ashutosh Gowariker, and Zoya Akhtar.
The love story revolves around Ginny, who meets Sunny for an arranged marriage, but turns him down. Sunny then teams up with her mother to woo her. Vikrant Massey will be seen playing an amateur chef in the flick which will have a marriage drama as its main element.
The film will be shot in Delhi, Noida, Ghaziabad, and Manali in India for over 50 days. Yami took to her social media handles to announce the commencement of the shoot. Sharing a still from the sets on the first day of the shoot, Yami wrote, "Hop in on this new adventure with us".
Meanwhile, on the work front, Vikrant will next be seen in Meghna Gulzar’s ‘Chhapaak’ which stars Deepika Padukone in the lead role. Yami, on the other hand, will be seen in Ayushmann Khurrana starrer ‘Bala’.
