The miscreants kept Sazzadul hostage at the residence the whole night. On the morning of January 16, they (Nazna and her men) forced me to make a phone call to my residence for money, he alleged. As a result, victim Sazzadul’s brother, Rezaul Karim and others, deposited Tk 15 lakh in Nazna’s three banks accounts and another Tk 5 lakh in the bank account of Nazna’s husband Zahirul.

But now I think he is a very nasty man.” About the attempted assault on DB personnel when they raided her flat, the accused Nazna said, “The DB officer touched my body.” Police repeatedly denied the claim. Admitting her attempt to attack DB personnel with sharp weapon, she further said, “In what situation, a woman tries to assault police, you also know.”
Nazna said, around one month ago, she submitted a complaint to the IGP complaint cell at Police Headquarters, which is under investigation. She also claimed that Sazzadul lodged a counter case against her after she filed a case against him before the court. Nazma claimed after she came out of jail on bail, AC Imam threatened her. However, Imam denied the allegation.
