The World Bank (WB) will launch a report titled “Moving Forward: Connectivity and Logistics to Sustain Bangladesh Success” today (Wednesday) at Hotel Radisson Blu Water Garden in the capital, reports BSS. Prime Minister’s Economic Affairs Adviser Dr. Mashiur Rahman will remain present on the occasion as the chief guest while Country Director of WB for Bangladesh and Bhutan Mercy Tembon will deliver the opening remarks, said a WB official. The opening session will be followed by a presentation and question-and- answer (Q&A) session.
The report presents a comprehensive diagnostic of transport and logistics performance in Bangladesh, the potential benefits from improving its performance and policy directions to realize such benefits.
