Victory Day on TV

Today is the great Victory Day. On this day of victory, all private channels, including Bangladesh Television, have organised special programmes. These include various illustrious shows arranged throughout the day including dramas, telefilms and films commemoration of the War of Liberation. A Mizan highlights the Victory Day programmes to be aired on television.

BTV

BTV will broadcast the Victory Day Parade live at 10am on the Victory Day. A special drama titled ‘Bijoy Chinno’ will be aired at 9pm. Chanchal Chowdhury, Shahnaz Khushi, Soumya Jyoti and Nairoz Sifat have acted in the drama directed by Syed Shakil.


Channel-i

Like every year, Channel-i has organised an array of programmes to commemorate the great Victory Day. Starting off, there will be a Victory Fair organised at Channel-i Square. The fair will be inaugurated at 11:05am today. There will be various stalls at the fair where documents on the War of Liberation, Liberation War Publications, Liberation War Museum, photographs of the War of Liberation, films of the War of Liberation and Diary of the freedom fighters will be displayed. The fair will be inaugurated in the presence of various valiant freedom fighters who have received the titled of Bir Bikram, Sector Commander, representatives of the society, cultural personnel, and high ups of Impress Group. 

During the cultural part of the programme, vocalists from Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra along with Rezwana Chowdhury Banya, Rafiqul Alam and Fakir Alamgir will be presenting songs. Mime show, Celebrity talk show has been organised under the title ‘Ami Bangladesh’. The drama of liberation war will also be staged at an open stage at the fair. Amirul Islam and Shahidul Alam Sachchu will conduct the fair. Channel I will broadcast it live.

As a sequel to Faridur Reza Sagar's ‘Ghar’, Swapner Ghar’ has been created based on the war of liberation. Arun Chowdhury has directed the drama. This is the 14th sequel to the drama ‘Ghar’. The central character of the drama has been played by Abdullah Rana, Runa Khan, KS Feroz.

NTV

At 6:30am NTV will air ‘Kobitay Muktijuddho’. Robi Rahman, Nirmalendu Goon, Kamal Chowdhury, Rabiul Hussain, Mahidul Islam and Tamanna Daisy will participate in the presentation being presented by Soumitra Shekhar. At 8:20am ‘Aaj Shokaler Gaan’ will be aired where artiste Shaheen Samad will perform live. At 8:45am, Bengali cinema ‘Hangor Nodi Grenade’ will be aired. This was created by Chashi Nazrul Islam adopted from the novel by Selina Hossain.

At 10:30am the Victory Day Parade will be aired live. And at 4:30pm music show ‘Bijoyer Gaan’ will be aired where Samina Chowdhury, Fahmida Nabi, Tapan Chowdhury, Tamir Nandi, Indramohan Rajbongdhi and Bulbul Mahalanbish will perform.

At 8:50pm, special drama ‘Upolobdhi’ will be shown. Written by Mezbah Uddin Sumon and directed by Niaz Mahbub. The drama stars Niloy Alamgir, Mim Mantasha, Dolly Zahur, Mohammad Bari and Saika Ahmed.


ATN Bangla

Again ATN Bangla’s programme starts will airing the Victory Day Parade at 10:30am. 

At 1pm, there will be a programme related to film titled ‘Chalachitre Muktijuddho’ to be presented by Tanvir Tarek and directed by Abdus Sattar.

Special talk show titled ‘Juddho Diner Katha’ will be aired at 8:00pm Special drama ‘Khama Nei’ to be aired at 9:00pm.

Written by Matin Sagar and directed by Kazi Salam, the drama stars Tariq Anam Khan, Sarika, Naeem.

Bangla Vision

The special drama ‘Juddhota Shobujer’ will be broadcast on Bangla Vision at 5pm on the occasion of the great Victory Day.

Shabnam Faria, Sujat Shimul, Sahir, Tinu Karim and others have played various roles in the story of Mezbah Uddin Sumon and under the direction of Sajjad Sumon. A special telefilm will be aired at 8:15pm tilted ‘Amra Korbo Joy’. Tariq Anam Khan, Jovan, Irfan Sajjad and Sabila Noor including others have acted in the play directed by Prabir Roy.


Maasranga Television

Mashranga Television will air special shows on the occasion of Victory Day. There is a full-length movie, ‘Eito Prem’, to be aired at 9am. Shakib Khan and Bindu have acted in this film directed by Sohail Arman. The special drama ‘Nihot Nokkhotro’ will be aired at 6:00pm. Farhana Mili, Majnun Mizan, Jayanta Chattopadhyay, Farooq Ahmed, Ashish Khandaker have acted in the composition and direction of Anjan Aich. At 8pm is the drama ‘Chitkar’, directed by Shimanto Sajal. Tisha, Tanvir, Pavel and Sharmili Ahmed have acted in this. A special documentary titled ‘Rakto Diye Naam Likhechhi’ will be broadcast at 9:00pm on the occasion of Victory Day which will be presented by Rashed Ahmed. The programme ‘Tomake Obhibadon’ will be aired at 11pm. Rafiqul Islam will be the guest of honour at the programme which will be presented by of Major (retd) Wakar Hasan, Bir Pratik. At 12pm, the music show ‘Bijoyer Gaan’ will be aired. Closeup One star Rashed, Punyachandra Das and Ronty will perform the songs.
