American actress Vanessa Hudgens has revealed that she has hopes to share her parents' immigrant story by adapting it into a film. Hudgens first broke into the spotlight as a teenager with her role as Gabriella Montez in Disney's ‘High School Musical’. Her role as the new girl who falls for the school's basketball star, Troy Bolton (Zac Efron), enthralled young Disney fans. She reprised her role as Montez for ‘High School Musical 2’ and ‘High School Musical 3.’ Following her Disney career, she would go on to star in various films and TV shows such as ‘Grease: Live’, ‘The Princess Switch’, ‘The Knight Before Christmas’, and ‘Tick, Tick... Boom’!

In addition to advancing her acting career, Hudgens has begun to dabble in producing in recent years. Impressively, she served dual roles as both actor and producer in ‘The Knight Before Christmas,’ ‘The Princess Switch: Switched Again’, and ‘The Princess Switch 3’. In addition to her work as a producer on ‘Princess Switch’, Hudgens portrayed multiple doppelgängers for the film, as well. Her dedication to advancing her acting and producing career may give her the opportunities to one day create her own film.    -Screen Rant
