UK Cross Party parliamentary delegation called on Sayem Sobhan Anvir, Managing Director of Bashundhara Group, on Sunday at his residence in Bashundhara Residential Area.
Led by five lawmakers -- Paul Bristow, Paulette Hamilton, Antony Higginbotham, Jane Marion Hunt, Thomas Patrick Hunt -- Councilor Alexander Turner Brentwood, the delegation also comprised Clear Insurance and Management director Rodney Flowers, Live Testing Solutions CEO Jo Lee, ZI Foundation Chairman Zillur Hussain MBE, SMR Vice-chairman Ivelina Banalieva, Posh Spice Ltd Chair Golap Mia and British Bangladeshi Young Talent founder Zobaer Alam.
The delegates praised Bashundhara Group for its contribution to the overall development of Bangladesh, according to a press release.
Bashundhara Group Chairman Ahmed Akbar Sobhan was acknowledged by the members of delegation for his contribution to creating jobs for the people and defining socioeconomic development of the country.
