UGC’s 2-day workshop ends

The certificate awarding and closing ceremony of a two-day training workshop on ‘Innovation in Public Services’ was held at University Grants Commission (UGC) on Monday, reports BSS. 

Information Management, Communication and Training (IMCT) Division, UGC organised the function for building capacity of innovation to reach the services to the doorsteps of people at easiest, systematic, effective and innovative way under National Integrity Strategy.

UGC Acting Chairman Professor Dr Mohammad Yousuf Ali Mollah distributed certificates among the participants as the chief guest.

Prof Yousuf advised the participants to inculcate the core universal values which included trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship to become a good human being to render good services to the people.

Secretary of UGC Dr Md Khaled was also present on the occasion.

Deputy Secretary of IMED, Planning Ministry Mahbubur Rahman and Capacity Development Expert of A2i Programme, Prime Minister’s Office Mahbubur Rahman were present as resource persons on the occasion.

Thirty four officials from UGC and seven public universities of the country participated in the two-day training workshop.
